In the far northeast corner of Oregon lies the Wallowa Country. This “Land of Winding Waters” contains 4,000 square miles of majestic snow-capped mountains, verdant valleys, teeming rivers and deep canyons. The land embodies a rich cultural history of the Nez Perce people who occupied it for over 12,000 years. Come experience some of America’s wildest and most remote backcountry as well as a burgeoning arts community. Wallowa Lake, a glacier carved wonder, invites boaters, fishermen, waterskiers, swimmers and parasailers.

If your family is hankering for a real-life Cowboy and Indian adventure, this camp is for you! During your vacation you can attend the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo and parade as well as expand your cultural awareness as you attend the Nez Perce Friendship Feast and Indian dance contest. Learn about the rich history of the ranchers and the Nez Perce and make memories with your family around the campfire.
