Description:

Wallowa Lake Area:

In the far northeast corner of Oregon lies the Wallowa Country. This “Land of Winding Waters” contains 4,000 square miles of majestic snow-capped mountains, verdant valleys, teeming rivers and deep canyons. The land embodies a rich cultural history of the Nez Perce people who occupied it for over 12,000 years. Come experience some of America’s wildest and most remote backcountry as well as a burgeoning arts community. Wallowa lake, a glacier carved wonder, invites boaters, fishermen, waterskiers, swimmers and parasailers.

Kickin’ Back in the Wallowas -

It is time to “kick back” from your many responsibilities at home and come to the Wallowa Mountains where you can enjoy the many activities that abound in Wallowa County.  This camp is an opportunity for you alone or you and your family and friends to plan what you want to do.  You can go hiking in the mountains, swimming in the lake, shopping at the art galleries, or reading quietly on the swing.
Meals are provided including a sack lunch so you can be out and about all day.  Take one last break before the busy activities of the fall begin.
