Description:

Sacred Threads

…threads of tradition
…threads of our souls

Thread is essential for quilting and is also a symbol of connectedness.  Many threads are woven together into cloth, and typically, many different fabrics are used in one quilt.  We use yards and yards of thread, and cut that thread countless times.  In a quilt, each new seam covers the unknotted end of the last seam, making every piece and every seam secure and part of the whole.  Thread becomes for us a reminder of individual sacredness and of the many incredible ways that we are woven together in the fabric of life.  This retreat is designed for you to work on the projects of your choice – when you want.  Join us on this journey.
