Being a Christian Leader puts leadership into a new perspective. Christian leadership doesn’t fit the world’s view of leadership, but is modeled after the higher values taught by Jesus. This weekend’s training offers opportunities for you to develop as a Christian leader, by gaining hands on skills required when working with groups as well as seeking the spiritual tools needed.
The call to be a Christian leader is not isolated to camp or church, school or work. Being a Christian leader means seeing God in the ordinary and serving Christ wherever we are. Throughout the weekend we will be utilizing our summer 2012 curriculum “Got Spirit? Finding God in the Everyday” to practice recognizing God in our midst and to learn ways to help others see God and build a deeper relationship with Christ.
Workshop choices will allow you to tailor your experience to meet your needs. Please contact Jane at Suttle Lake if there is a training topic you’d like to see included. The training begins at 6:00 Friday evening with dinner and continues until 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
This weekend will be a benefit to seasoned camp leaders, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, small group leaders, first time leaders, and others that are ready to take their own leadership to the next level. Bring a carload from your church and increase your take home value.
