Description:
The Headwaters of Life
Is it any accident that Jesus chooses a fisherman as one of his closest friends and gives him responsibility for the emerging movement of the church? Not a chance! By weight, human beings are mostly water. Measuring surface area, the earth is mostly water. We were made for the water and there are so many glorious places to fish!
Join Dave, Pastor Jim, and on-fire musician Rob McCoy for a week of fly-fishing on the headwaters of life in Yellowstone National Park. We’ll chase large trout up river valleys in some of the most beautiful country on the face of the earth. We’ll forge friendships that take us deep into the power and purpose of being Christian men.
Our base camp for exploring Yellowstone Park and the surrounding area is a new eight bedroom, five bathroom 3,600 square foot cabin in West Yellowstone. Fly fish all day long, hike in the park, walk into town to shop and mingle with people from around the world, tie a fly or just read a book. The daily schedule can flex to meet your goals.
Lodging, meals, flies, leaders, casting and fishing instruction, and some transportation at the camp are included in the cost. We will need to do some carpooling. Transportation to West Yellowstone is on your own.
Camp starts with dinner on the 29th of September and ends with breakfast on the 6th of October.
Maximum number of campers: 12. Minimum number of campers: 8. Minimum age: 21.
