      <title>Color the Camp &#45; Magruder</title>

      <description>Come to Camp Magruder on Saturday, May 8th to &#8220;color the camp.&#8221;&amp;nbsp; Friends of Camp Magruder are invited to bring flats of annuals and perennials to plant in flower beds, pots, and window boxes throughout camp.&amp;nbsp; Volunteers are also needed to help with window washing – please bring supplies.&amp;nbsp; The event will run from 9 am to 3 pm.&amp;nbsp; Lunch will be served at noon in Carrier Lodge.&amp;nbsp; Although there is no charge for the event, a free will offering will be accepted during lunch.</description>

Plan now for a wonderful retreat at Camp Mokule’ia on Oahu in Hawaii  Feb 6&#45;11, 2011.&amp;nbsp; There will be space for 24.&amp;nbsp; Registration will be open at a later date.

The cost will be $550 per per/double occupancy and includes, food, lodging, luau and ground transportation.&amp;nbsp; Participants will need to arrange their own airfare. You will also need to pay a $200 deposit when registering (registration open at a later date &#45; keep checking back).

      <description>So you’ve heard that the Episcopal and Methodist churches have partnered in camp ministry and that Camp Latgawa is now your camp too.&amp;nbsp; But what’s it like?&amp;nbsp; Where’s it at?&amp;nbsp; Well if you what answers to these questions and more come join us Saturday, May 8 for Spring Breakout.&amp;nbsp; 
	Spring Breakout is our annual open house and work weekend.&amp;nbsp; It is a time when folks can come out and tour the camp, have lunch and enjoy the woods.&amp;nbsp; If you want to do some work there are projects for all skill levels including:&amp;nbsp; mowing the lawn, painting, cleaning gutters and, as always, we have lots of chainsaw work to do. 
	So whether you’re into hiking or raking come on and check out your camp! Don’t forget to bring your appetite too because we will have a BBQ at noon.

This camp will see the world renowned Malheur Wildlife Bird Refuge, Steens Mountain, the Alvord Desert, Fields Oasis, Crack&#45;in&#45;the Ground, and Fort Rock.&amp;nbsp; First time visitors often add 5&#45;10 birds to their life&#45;lists and enjoy some of the “ruggedest” scenery in Oregon.&amp;nbsp; The camp dean and resident theologian&#45;spiritual guide will be Rev.       <description>Celebrate the beauty and solitude of God’s creation with your spiritual sisters!&amp;nbsp; Our journey will begin at Suttle Lake Camp on Tuesday afternoon with a time to get acquainted and prepared for our journey. Together we&#8217;ll explore one of the alpine wilderness regions of Central Oregon over a three night backpack, with at least one layover day allowing for relaxation, reflection, and pack&#45;less exploration.&amp;nbsp; A supportive community and times for spiritual reflection and celebration add to the splendor of this event.&amp;nbsp; All skill levels welcomed.&amp;nbsp; Participants will need sturdy over the ankle hiking boots, layered clothing including rain gear and should be able to carry a 35&#45;40 pound backpack for up to 6 miles a day. The specific destinations are being researched and options may become part of the group decision process.</description>
