Camp provides a safe community.  You experience acceptance and love.  You intentionally build together a community.  Camp celebrates diversity.  No matter what your color, gender or socioeconomic circumstances, you are beautiful inside and out. Camp teaches us how to cope with life’s obstacles, become leaders, think outside of the box and succeed at being ourselves.  Research by the American Camp Association (ACA) showed that 92% of campers felt better about themselves after the camp experience. Campers and staff will explore what it means to be a good neighbor to all of God’s people. “Breakthrough” is the ninth title of New Earth: Christian Resources for the Outdoors.  This curriculum is developed by the New Earth Publishers, a cooperative group of denominational publishing houses in cooperation with the Committee on Outdoor Ministry (COM) of the National Council of the Churches of Christ.
