Payment Plan / Installments

If you are unable to pay for the cost of your child’s camp in one payment, you will be able to schedule a payment plan in the online system. This has been a popular choice by many parents to break the fee down into installments.

As always, if you have any questions about this or have other registration questions, don’t hesitate to ask the Camp Registrar at registrar@gocamping.org.

Camperships (Financial Aid)

Please visit our Campership page for more information on Financial Aid.

Roommate Requests

A camper, if he or she chooses, may make one roommate request. The request must be mutual, and only one roommate request per camper will be recorded. We will honor roommate requests as space and program requirements allow.

Camp Information

You will receive a confirmation e-mail which includes a link to a detailed camp information page once your registration is submitted. If you do not receive this e-mail, please contact the registrar at (503) 802-9214.

The page includes:

  • Health History Forms. If you registered by mail, these forms need to be mailed to the Camping Office at least two weeks before camp starts, if not completed onine.
  • Links to all the site pages.
  • A starter list of what to bring to camp.
  • A PDF of camp policies.

Cancellation Policy

Site and program staffs are eager to welcome guests and work hard to prepare for everyone to arrive as expected. However, we understand that complications happen resulting in a need to cancel. If you cancel your registration to an event at least two weeks prior to the start of the event, you will receive your money back, less the minimum deposit amount ($50-$75 in most cases) which is non-refundable. Some of our events have larger deposits because we have larger expenses incurred when there are cancellations. Look for the minimum deposit amount listed or check with the registrar if you have questions about this.

Cancellations less than two weeks but at least one week before the start of the event will receive a 50% refund. Refunds for cancellations within one week of the start of camp are generally not granted. In the case of extenuating circumstances, contact the registrar’s office at (503) 802-9214 or registrar@gocamping.org.

If Camp and Retreat Ministries should cancel your event, we will help you select another event that meets your needs. If another selection will not work for you, you will receive a full refund. Registering early helps avoid cancellations due to low enrollments!

Insurance

Camper’s personal medical insurance is considered primary coverage.  The summer camp insurance through The Board of Camp and Retreat Ministries or the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon for accidental injury or death and certain sicknesses is provided as a secondary policy intended to assist with deductible and co-pays or medical bills not covered by the policy covering the camper.
